Summer Slam: A Mario Kart Championship Series

1.     Each participant will play 2 Grand Prix games, 8 races.

2.     Points will be awarded based on the participant's finishing position in each race. The participant with the highest total points across both Grand Prix games will receive the top seed in the single elimination round. The participant with the second-highest point total will receive the second seed, and so on.

3.     In the event of a tie, a coin toss will determine the higher seed.

4.     The single elimination round will be played using the Versus mode, which consists of 4 races.

5.     The participant with the lowest point total in each race of the single elimination round will be eliminated.

6.     If there is a tie for the lowest point total in a race, a tiebreaker race will be played to determine the loser of the race.

7.     The winner of each race in the single elimination round will advance to the next round.

8.     The championship round will consist of the 4 remaining winners from the single elimination rounds. They will play 1 Grand Prix race, which is 4 races, to determine the ultimate winner of the tournament.

9.     All participants must play with a Joy-Con controller provided by the event. No outside controllers will be allowed.

10.Participants may not bring their own Nintendo Switch console or game cartridges. The tournament will be played on Nintendo Switch consoles provided by the event.

11.The host reserves the right to change the rules whenever necessary.

12.No taunting, bullying, or unsportsmanlike conduct will be allowed. The event has a zero-tolerance policy, and participants will be disqualified for such behavior.

13. All children participating must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
